Every so often, I still have a slight urge to self-host a Mastodon instance just for me. I don't know what I would do with it or why I would want to, but the urge is there.
@alexhall I do it mainly because I didn't want to associate myself with another instance, I also wanted my own andrew@hodgson.io handle.
