A LANGUAGE tip for new users so that most of what you see is in your preferred language.

Browse to:

Preferences -> Appearance: and ensure you have the correct Interface Language set.

Preferences -> Other: and set the "Posting Language" to be "Same as Interface Language". This helps others filter you correctly.

Preferences -> Other: select from the Filter Language(s) list those languages you want to see in the public timelines.
