I'm really grateful to @fosstodon and @M0YNG for hosting so many guests at fosstodon.org and mastodon.radio. These were great places for me to get to know the #fediverse.

But ultimately I believe the Fediverse is stronger with many smaller instances than a few big ones, so I stood up pompat.us last night. Just for myself for now. I'm considering opening it up to a small community when I'm feeling all of the kinks are worked out.

Thanks also to the @gotosocial team for making a Fediverse platform that was so much easier to deploy #selfhosted on #docker than most of the alternatives! #GoToSocial
