Warum bei der DKMS registrieren?

Bei Blutkrebs oder eine ähnlichen Erkrankung kann es sein, dass eine Chemo (allein) nicht ausreicht. Die Menschen brauchen ein komplett neues blutbildendes System.

Das tolle ist: Es ist möglich, dass ein anderer Mensch Stamzellen spendet. Ein einiziger Beutel mit Stammzellen, kann jemand mit Krebs Heilung ermöglichen. Für die Person die spendet ist es am ehesten mit einer langen Plasmaspende vergleichbar. Nur selten ist eine kleine Vollnarkose für die Entnahme aus dem Knochenmark notwendig.

Der Nachteil: Eine Spenderin zu finden die "passt" ist unglaublich unwahrscheinlich. Die sogenannten HLA Merkmale müssen möglichst gut übereinstimmen. Deswegen finden trotz Millionen von registrierten Menschen, viele Patient:innen kein passendes Match. Deshalb braucht es mehr registrierte Menschen.

A long time ago I saw a webpage with non-incel tips how, especially hetero man, can deal with being single and "how to find a girlfriend". It was not like "do this wired trick and women will like you" but genuinely good advice on life for people that have a harder time with social interaction.
Does anyone know what I mean and can point me in the right direction?

Not what I planned for today but: I modified about 20 animal shelters in #OpenStreetMap today. The most annoying thing I fixed: shelters where both building and area are tagged as amenity:animal_shelter, often with duplicate contact details.
While I could correct this data only in my (downstream) application, it's so nice to do something that will benefit others too.

Eine gute Freundin von mir organisiert mit und es wird toll 😍 es gibt ein nices Awarenesskonzept.

In Balingen haben 25% AfD gewählt. Gerade deshalb ist es umso wichtiger, dass wir die queere Community sichtbar machen und auch aus anderen Städten zu solchen Parties fahren - auch wenn es queere Partys in der eigenen Stadt gibt.
