@dave_andersen tell me your secrets, if you ever figure it out

@molly0xfff there were a few differences this year to tease out:
1) The basil was under the solar panels so it was shaded at noon.

2) We went on vacation earlier this year so it didn't dry out in August as much as it usually was.

3) I harvested it more frequently.

Alas, I changed three variables at once... 🤓
