that maps to A/AAAA under the hood, if it indeed ends up doing a DNS resolution at all, right?
@epilys my gay ass did NOT see the SRV/TXT requirement. otoh i dont think there /is/ a standard interface that doesn't give you address/name mappings, and the best you're gonna get is the system's config for what server to call?
