I mean even if I didn't use exwm, if I had some elisp that caused emacs to hang I would get rid of it! because that's shitty elisp
@technomancy hm that makes sense... I honestly don't remember what was it specifically that would make emacs hang on my setup, but I do remember it happening... so that might just be a me thing? maybe I should give it a go again

but yeah, I would give it another go; you can use M-x toggle-debug-on-quit to get a stack trace whenever you see it hang; yeet the offender and repeat till it works smoothly?
