The new title element completes our suite of semantic elements. It makes it easier to insert and style document titles without custom functions, while improving accessibility and SEO.
We also tuned Typst's math mode. Not only can you use different fonts in the same equation now, we also added support for two more fraction styles! Skewed fractions are especially useful where space is tight.
Your tables tend to run long? Use the new table subheaders to partition tables into distinct sections. Typst automatically repeats header rows (including subheaders) after page breaks, so your tables remain readable no matter how long they grow.
No matter whether your university requires PDF/A for your thesis submission or whether you are documenting vital business processes using Typst: You can now export files conforming to each published PDF/A standard, including accessible conformance levels.
Curious about HTML export? We have improved the experimental feature with a typed API for every HTML element. Without any HTML-specific code, Typst can now generate HTML for more elements. The entire model category is now covered!
You can upgrade to Typst 0.14 now. If you open any project in the Typst web app, we will automatically check it for compatibility. If you are using the open-source Typst compiler, check our open-source page for download instructions for your platform.
