and this is really good advice! I've been doing what I can to make this happen; what I did not really expect was that this means I'm using Signal a lot more than I was
so now I have to decide whether to A) thumb-type a lot more or B) break down and finally put an electron app on my laptop (ugh) or C) sit down and figure out one of those bridge thingies that would let me use a client that doesn't suck quite so bad
taking a look at some of the signald clients; looks somewhat promising, but on https://github.com/hoehermann/purple-signald I see a warning:
Currently, due to issues within signald, incoming messages can get lost. Since the issue has been persisting for months, the author of purple-signald developed an alternative: purple-presage
so, anyone have a recommendation to make? signald vs presage? what's the scoop?
