#introduction I figured I’d say hola, howdy, and hey y’all. I hale from Memphis, tn, and yes, I’ve walked down Beel street in my blue suede shoes. I don’t recommend walking in Memphis , in the rain, while wearing blue suede shoes either. Walking ten feet up in the air is, frankly, terrifying.
I’m Noel, a relatively boring dude whose age is divisible by 9. I enjoy chemistry, reading innumerable books, and I also don’t enjoy long walks on treacherously sandy beaches. I have super brittle bones, and no, I have no idea how many fractures I’ve had. I work in the field of digital accessibility for a three letter government agency. I love to learn. I have way too many degrees and way too few certifications, something I’m currently working on. I’m married to my best friend, and I’ve never been happier, even though she brought two cats, two rats six guinea pigs, and a guide dog into my life. My family now consists of two kids (a 12 year old daughter and a 15 year old son), and the aforementioned zoo. My daughter and her stepmother are a force to be reckoned with, because they attract animals, and cuteness like magnets. If I listened to my audiobook collection constantly, it would take over three years. I embrace my weird, and champion other’s weirdness. Feel free to hop onto this funhouse ride. Expect mechanical problems, wide open bright patches, short tunnels, hills, stomach twisting drops, and some cool twists and turns here and there. Ask questions often, but beware, I’ll answer honestly. Integrity is a pillar that supports me when I fall, and humor helps lift me up when I’m down. My favorite element is helium, my favorite number is pi because it is a number with no end, and the Discworld book series by sir Terry Pratchett. Have fun, remember that it’s ok not to be ok, and I I offer my full-throated endorsement to laughter! I also endorse the art of screaming into the void, the wilderness, my pillow, or at the refrigerator after a stubbed toe. Now go out there fine friends, and get ‘em, whoever they are!
