Dear nerdfolk,

If you're the sort of person who names their computers *and* has a naming scheme for them - what are they named and what's your naming scheme?

@datarama I used to guve them names from Tolkien's world of Lord of the Rings, but then BigTech showed up, and I was "nah", switched to Pratchett's worlds. But while I love those stories, the naming options are more limited than in Tolkien's case.

The current plan is to use latin plant names going forward. That has the advantage of involving my wife, and I get to learn a lot of plant facts & history, and our kids enjoy this process too.
