Wow, hard disk prices are complete nonsense now. When I last upgraded my NAS' storage, I bought three 4 TB disks. That was just over 11 years ago. The exact same model is still for sale and costs about twice as much.
@david_chisnall I'm so, so glad I finished my latest round of PC and storage purchases/upgrades last year. I have a bunch of 16TB disks in my NAS at home and all the old 8TB ones went to the colo for off-site backups.
