Dear nerdfolk,
If you're the sort of person who names their computers *and* has a naming scheme for them - what are they named and what's your naming scheme?

@datarama For my servers, stars for physical machines and planets for virtual ones. (Since, well, planets orbit stars and there are usually multiple planets per star :P.)
For desktopy machines I like to use amusing-sounding (to me) village names. It's just harder to take Ytterhogdal too seriously than "the work laptop". (Though it's far from consistent. I'm posting this from Utgård since it's, well, the laptop for taking to the unknown outsides. And my main desktop is named Emeritus because the old name referenced my deadname.)
@natkr I'm thinking of retiring my mathematician naming scheme soon because I'm tired of it, and I'm thinking either Elder Futhark runes (bonus: I can then incorporate the actual rune into my zsh prompt; my terminal font supports Elder and long-staff Younger Futhark), or characters from William Blake's weird mythology (los, oothoon, orc, tharmas, etc. - and, of course, the work laptop would have to be urizen).
