@timbray I watched Discovery to the end, and I also prefer Strange New Worlds.
However, to me the issue is that since the pandemic, I *can't* really watch bleak shows. I loved Netflix's Jessica Jones- ended in 2019. Now I doubt I'd be able to watch it unless a few years pass, and Ms. Marvel is my favorite Marvel TV show now.
I *know* if I watched Discovery before the pandemic I would have enjoyed it *much* more.
@timbray But anyway, Anson Mount is AWESOME.
(Heck, he even was decent in the Inhumans trainwreck. And he didn't speak!)
