In high school chemistry I learned that maxim "Do as you ought to, pour acid into water" (because if you do it the other way the acid might splash on you) which wouldn't rhyme except my chemistry teacher had a strong Brooklyn accent and pronounced it "do as ya oughtta, pouah acid inta watta”.
But today I realized that the Philadelphia version rhymes more musically. “Do as yuh oughter, poo-er acid inta woodah.”
