Do you regularly add alt texts to your images?
Please be honest, I want to use this result in an essay.

@finn no, because I no longer post images. The first 9 images from the early days of this account had alts, but I realized that adding images did not add value.
Many images added to text are cargo culting or based on perverse incentives (my article will be less visible without an image). The galaxy-brain take is not to add alt to images, is to not add the image.
(Of course, no blanket statements are true. Images with alt can be good.)
